Create Moments for Play, Laughter and Joy

Create Moments for Play, Laughter and Joy

July 27, 2020

The body heals with play, the mind heals with laughter, and the spirit heals with joy.
~ Proverb

Creating moments for play, laughter, and joy is vital, especially in the midst of a pandemic and caregiving responsibilities! So go out and get dirty in your garden, play with a child, wrestle with your dog. Find humor in the absurdity or irony of your life situation, laugh instead of react to a difficult life situation. Finally, do something each day that nourishes your spirit with joy—pick a bouquet of flowers, take a walk in nature, lose yourself in a good book, listen to uplifting music, or just take a nap. The warmth and sunshine of summer makes this a perfect time to heal your body, mind and spirit.
